Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz Sharif has condemned the police action against the students of Peshawar University and demanded immediate release of detainees. In a statement, Hamza called upon the government to accept demands of students and withdraw the decision of additional fee. He also called for a probe into the incident and due action against the persons responsible for batoncharge.
