RAWALPINDI - Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa said Monday that the officers and Jawans of Pakistan’s Armed Forces are our real heroes.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate, Pakistan Army Chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa stated this while addressing a ceremony held at the General Headquarters (GHQ) to give awards to the Armed Forces personnel for demonstrating professional skills and valour during different security operations in the country.

A large number of army men and their family members attended the ceremony.
On the occasion, Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa paid tributes to the army men for their valueless sacrifices and said they are the real heroes whose sacrifices led the country to achieve further stability and lasting peace.
He further said that no sacrifice is bigger than offering life in the defence of the motherland and stressed that the sacrifices of our army men would not go in vein.
