SWAT - The district administration and health department started implementation of new restrictions following the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) decision to contain spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
Following the NCOC orders, Deputy Commissioner Swat Junaid Khan launched special campaign across the district for implementation of corona vaccination, SOPs and vaccination certificate checking. Action is being taken against those not vaccinated in the district.
The district administration and health department’s teams visited different markets to vaccinate vendors against corona. The teams also instructed vendors to follow SOPs. The teams also gave corona vaccination certificates to those vaccinated on the spot. During the campaign, 30 people were vaccinated in Charbagh tehsil.
On the instructions of DC Swat, the concerned assistant commissioners also organised corona awareness drives among the people. The district administration and health department officials inspected various shopping malls, restaurants, public transport and markets and asked the citizens to ensure that all members of their family above 12 years of age are vaccinated to ensure their families safety.
