Car, 6 motorcycles stolen from Islamabad  

ISLAMABAD - Auto-theft gangs have deprived the citizens of a car and six motorcycles in different areas of capital, informed sources on Monday.

Similarly, two houses were also robbed, they said.

According to sources, Saad Khan, a resident of G-10, told Ramna police that auto-theft gang pilfered his car from outside of his house.

Another citizen Khurram Shehzad lodged complaint with Police Station Koral that his motorcycle was stolen by unknown thieves, they said adding that motorcycle owned by Tehsin Ali was also taken away from I-8/4. Similarly, motorcycles of Abdul Rafeh, Muhammad Ali and Israr ul Haq are also stolen from different parts of capital.

Iffat Hussain appeared before PS Sihala and lodged complaint that robbers stole gold ornaments from her house, sources said adding that unknown pocket pickers deprived Ammar Altaf of mobile phone and cash. Abdul Moheen of Spring Valley tabled an application with PS Bhara Kahu that robbers burgled cash, gold and laptop from his house. Zahid Mehmood of Jhang Syedan reported to PS Koral that unknown thieves stole household items worth Rs 155,000. Police registered cases and begun investigation, sources said.
