ATTOCK - Police have arrested six anti social elements including drug peddlers and gamblers from different areas. In the first attempt, Pindigheb police arrested Muhammad Saqib and Noor Ahmad and recovered 1.8 kg hashish and two pistols from their possession. In another attempt Injra Police arrested four gamblers from village Nandrakabad and recovered Rs 35,280 bet money from their possession. Those arrested include Muzamil, Amir Aslam, Javed and Usman while Wajid , Sajid , Sadiq and Ehtisham escaped from the crime scene.
Cases under the act have been registered against all of them and have been sent behind the bars. Meanwhile three dacoits entered a house in Qutba area in the jurisdiction of Police Station Hazro and escaped with million of rupees and other valuables. Chaudhry Taj Muhammad told police that three dacoits entered his house last night, made all the inmates hostage and took away Rs five lac, 17,000 US Dollars, gold jewellery weighing 11 tola and six cell phones.
