50 mobile phone towers to be installed in Attock: Amin

ATTOCK   -   Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam has said that 50 new mobile phone towers (with 4G service) will be installed in different areas of Attock district which will cover 169 villages. He said this while talking to this journalist. Malik Amin said that for the purpose, Prime Minister Imran Khan has approved Rs 300 million. He said that work on installation of these towers will be started soon. He said that at present, thousands of people of these 169 villages have no coverage and remain disconnected from other areas of the country and specially those who want to use internet service face lot of problems. Malik Amin said that work on installation of these towers will be started soon which will be installed in different areas of Attock, Jand, Pindigheb, Fatehjang, Hasanabadal and Hazro. He said that at present, only 60 percent area of the district is availing 4G facility and said that with in next one year this facility will be available across the district. 

While replying a question, he said that those areas with weak mobile service will also be upgraded. Malik Amin said that three villages which include Haji Shah, Dakhner and Faqeerabad will be provided water supply facility.
