CID apprehends 4 armed Taliban



KARACHI  - The Crime Investigation Department (CID) has apprehended at least four alleged Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) activists here on Tuesday.
The SSP of CID told newsmen that small arms and explosives were also recovered from the outlawed extremists.
“So far we have seized three handguns and grenades that the terrorists were carrying with them by the time of their arrest”, added he. He said they were interrogating the arrestees to squeeze more information out of them.
PML-F to support all anti-terrorism efforts: Secretary General of Pakistan Muslim League -Functional (PML-F) Imtiaz Shaikh has assured that his party will support all efforts against elimination of terrorism from the country.
This, he stated while talking to a delegation of Awami National Party (ANP) led by Federal Minister Ghulam Ahmed Bilour who called on him here the other day. Senator Shahi Syed was also present on the occasion.
Imtiaz Shaikh said that PML-F is against terrorism and will support all efforts against it. The ANP delegation extended invitation to PML-F for participation in All Parties Conference against terrorism, being organised by it at Islamabad.
