ISLAMABAD - The Islamabad B-Division Football League will get underway today (Saturday) here under the auspices of Islamabad Football Association (IFA).
IFA secretary Syed Sharafat Hussain Bukhari told The Nation that all the arrangements have been finalised to conduct the tournament in a befitting manner and organising committee meeting was also held in this regard. “The league matches will be played on every Saturday and Sunday at two grounds Al-Faisal Football Ground G-9/2 and T&T Ground G-8/4.
As many as 24 teams are taking part in the league, which have been divided into eight groups while two teams from each group will qualify for pre-quarterfinals that will begin from January 20 and quarterfinals from 27th. The dates of semifinals and final will be announced later,” he added.
