The reliable sources confirmed The Nation that the meeting was held in a cordial environment as both discussed PCB financial affairs. “Sethi informed Miftah about third edition of Pakistan Super League and other cricketing events. Miftah not only lauded the efforts of PCB chief for bringing improvement in domestic cricket, but also praised him for reviving international cricket in Pakistan. He also assured his all-out cooperation to Sethi for the promotion of cricket in Pakistan,” the sources said.

“The PCB chairman requested Miftah to treat the cricket board like it treats all exporters for tax purposes, as he was off the view that the PCB generates all its income while playing outside Pakistan from export of Pakistani players’ services,” they added.
