Torrential rain wreaks havoc in Kasur, Balochistan

At least three people on Thursday have lost their lives while six others sustained severe injuries in two separate rain-related mishaps in Kasur.

According to details, roofs of two houses collapsed due to the heavy downpour and strapped the residents under the rubble. Rescue teams arrived at the scene and rescued the dead bodies of three people including two children. 

Six people including one woman have also been shifted to the hospital for medical assistance.

On the other hand, Balochistan is facing worst rain disaster as emergency has been imposed in Kech and Pasni. Alert has also been issued for Gwadar. 

The concerned authorities have also expressed fear of possible flooding in Sibi, Mastung, Kalat, Khuzdar, Lesbela and Naseerabad.

The soldiers of Pakistan Army are also assisting the rescue operation in the rain-hit province.
