KARACHI - PML-Q Secretary General Mushahid Hussain has said that PPP government has completely failed to address problems faced by the common man. During its two-year tenure, price hike, unemployment, loadshedding, law and order situation, and withering economic policies are the sole proof of PPP led governments failure, he added. Addressing a Press conference here on Wednesday, Mushahid presented a fact sheet on PPPs govt performance during the last two years and urged the govt to constitute a committee for the resolution of economic and energy crises. He demanded that the committee should present the solution within 30 days. On the occasion, PML-Q leaders including MNA Chaudhry Wajahat Hussain, PML-Q Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Ameer Muqam, PML-Q Sindh President Ghous Bux Mehar, Secretary Halim Adil Sheikh and other leaders were also present. One can imagine the level of PPP government failure that it had not lodged FIR of Benazir Bhutto killing, he held. He blamed that present government was ruling over in the name and picture of Benazir Bhutto Shaheed and said that corruption had increased in two years of present government. He said that PML (Q) demanded that the rulers should release the details of their assets, so that people could know that what were their assets in March 2008 and what is their position in May 2010. He said that according to the Auditor General of Pakistans report, Rs 323b corruption was committed in 2009 while during the same period, govt also faced Rs 250b deficits. He said that the institutions like PIA, Steel Mills and other are continuously facing billions of rupees loss. He alleged that PPP govt policies were creating differences among the provinces as in haphazard way, they accepted the name of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to which serious differences were created in two communities in that province. He was of view that if wrong policies of PPP government continued and problems of price hike, unemployment, power crisis and law and order situation were not addressed on priority basis, no one could stop the masses to come on streets against government like what happened in Bangkok and Kyrgyzistan to dethrone the rulers.
