I am going to pen down a harsh reality; in Pakistan transgender community is being ignored, neglected and treated like animals. According to a report ,the management of the Khyber Medical College (KMC) morgue in Peshawar refused to accept the body of a transgender person on Saturday. The person had been murdered in the Darmangi area earlier in the day. The management argued that the body was decomposed and would make their freezers dirty. The community is a part of a country and humans then why the body of a human is being treated thus? It is my request to Pakistani citizens and the government to respect transgenders as human beings.
