Former president Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday has said no one gets to power corridors without a deal and Prime Minister Imran Khan too came to power after a deal with the powers.

Addressing party workers in a Nawabshah today, the PPP co-chairman said efforts are underway to arrest him and added that his arrest would only increase his popularity. 

The PPP is a democratic party and served the people of the country, he added.

Zardari claimed that no one gets to power without a deal, Imran and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif also came to power after striking similar deals.

Meanwhile, the PPP leader has decided to enhance contact with the people and he will visit different districts of Sindh, including Sukkur, Nawabshah division.

Yesterday, the former president had said he is observing that ‘some people’ are hatching a conspiracy against him. He said he would remain firm and face all the plots being designed against him.

If disbursing jobs among the masses was his mistake, I would continue doing so, he stated.
