The monthly tax for owing a television set has been raised to Rs 60, every citizen who has a TV set or not has to pay it, as some ruler decided to add this to the electricity bill; no one has since taken notice of this, what is Rs30 or Rs60 to someone who has large illegal earnings after all? I would like to request the authorities to reverse such laws, which were once made at someone’s whims, but are no more applicable. There are also people who do not own a TV set but have to pay this tax as it is added to the electricity bill.
