X-Men sequel to shoot in Jan

‘The X-Men: First Class’ sequel will start shooting in January, 20th Century Fox has announced.
The scheduling will allow Jennifer Lawrence to film the Hunger Games sequel in the autumn for Lionsgate before returning to X-Men, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Earlier this week, 20th Century Fox said that it may activate Lawrence’s contract option to film the sci-fi sequel, which would cause a conflict with Lionsgate’s plans to film Catching Fire in the same period.
Lawrence was cast as Mystique in ‘X-Men: First Class’ months before  landing the role of Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games, meaning 20th Century Fox have priority on paper.
However, Lionsgate was hoping to hold all of its Hunger Games actors for seven months before shooting Catching Fire. Lionsgate is aiming to shoot Catching Fire this year in order to make the intended 2013 release.                         –DS
