LAHORE - Karachi Basketball Association (KBBA) President Ghulam Muhammad Khan has announced that the 5th Commissioner Karachi Cup Basketball Tournament will be held from January 28 to February 4 at International Abdul Nasser Basketball Court Aram Bagh, Karachi. The tournament will be played on 3X3 basis. A full court tournament will be held under FIBA rules. Commissioner Karachi Muhammad Iqbal Memon has directed KBBA President Ghulam Muhammad Khan to conduct the event in a trend setting manner and provide each and every facility to the participating teams and players. The event should be conducted following FIBA rules strictly and for its smooth conduct, a committee has been formed where the chairman will be Deputy Commissioner South Irshad Ali Sodhar while Zafar Iqbal is organizing secretary for boys tournament and Zaeema Khatun for girls tournament and KBBA Secretary Tariq Hussain is chairman of reception committee. The teams interesting to participate in the tournament are directed to contact Zafar Iqbal and Zaima Khatun by Jan 24 as the draws will be held on Jan 25.
