A viper manufacturing factory located in the area of Ladhaywala Gujranwala came under fire on Sunday. 

Soon after the fire broke out, the entire factory was ablaze in a short span of time owing to more than two tons of cotton in the building being present at the factory.  

Rescue 1122 reached immediately at the spot with a total of ten fire tenders and ensured to bring the fire under control after a five hour effort.  

It has been reported by the rescue sources that there was no loss of life in the incident. In fact, none got injured as well. However, machinery and goods worth million of rupees were burned down to ashes by the fire.  

It has been further revealed by sources that the fire erupted due to short-circuit.
