RAWALPINDI - Federal Minister on Interior Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed paid a visit to Holy Family Hospital (HFH) on Thursday and inspected the 20 ventilators provided by National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
The minister also took a round of other departments including the corona wards of hospital and issued directions to management to provide adequate medical facilities to the patients admitted in the hospital.
Talking to media men, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said that he was born in the Peads department of the HFH. He said the HFH is the largest medical care centre of city where doctors examine and provide medical treatment to tens of hundreds of patients on daily basis. “We have 1,000 beds in HFH with scores of well qualified doctors to handle any emergency situation,” he said.
He said NDMA provided 20 ventilators to management of HFH for treating coronavirus patients. He said he played an active role for provision of ventilators to HFH administration by the NDMA.
He said the district government will declare HFH as corona hospital in case of any emergency and PM Imran Khan will inaugurate the health centre.
