Mailsi/Multan - Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said on Monday that PPP will change fate of the people after coming into power.
Addressing a public gathering here in District Vehari of Punjab, Bilawal said through a conspiracy his party was kept out of power in Punjab. He said his party raised salaries and pensions of the civil and armed forces. He thanked people of Vehari for supporting People’s Party.
Bilawal said leaders of the People’s Party always faced conspiracies. He said the next government will of PPP and they will raise salaries of civil and armed forces again. He asked people of Punjab to support PPP in next general elections for PPP government in the province and a Jiala (stalwart) prime minister. He claimed that only a PPP man as a prime minister could put Pakistan on road to progress and make it a developed and prosperous country.
Meanwhile, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Monday appealed to minorities to stand by his party for its struggle to put the country on path of progress and prosperity.
Flanked by opposition leader in Senate Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, and PPP South Punjab president Makhdoom Ahmad Mahmood during a meeting with representatives of Christian community here at Peoples Secretariat, Bilawal Bhutto said that PPP got elected a Christian MPA and a Senator from Sindh.
He informed that quota for minorities was followed in PPP government, adding that they were ignored after its era. The Christian community representatives deliberated in length with Bilawal on the issues being faced by them and its solution. They thanked PPP chairman for voicing their concerns on appropriate fora.
