The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested a suspected terrorist besides recovering explosives from his possession here on Thursday.

According to sources, the CTD on an intelligence tip-off conducted operation in Sukkur during which suspected terrorist Rahim was arrested and an explosive filled bag was also recovered from his possession.

The CTD sources said that the nabbed terrorists joined Tehreek-e-Taliban in 2009 and took part in many terrorist activities and after Swat operation fled in Sukkur.
