BAHAWALPUR   -  Bahawalpur Division Commissioner Capt (retd) Zafar Iqbal Friday presided over a meeting to review corona vaccination campaign, price control, and development projects in the division.

The commissioner directed that the development targets should be completed on time and all resources should be utilised for the success of all the campaigns of the Health Department for vaccination. He directed to resolve the grievances received on the Citizen Portal and complete all other objectives in a timely manner. “The departments which have improved their performance will be appreciated and rewards will be given for timely completion of the set targets,” he said. “A strict departmental action will be taken against the supervising officers of the departments whose performance is not satisfactory,” he added. Officers concerned attended the meeting through video link.

On the other hand, Chief Corporation Officer Nasrullah Malik visited the city after the rains and immediately got the rainwater drained from the low-lying areas. Municipal Officer Services Muhammad Ansar and Chief Sanitary Inspector Malik Riaz were also present on the occasion.
