Islamabad Brother of Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, former federal minister for water and power, tortured his 15-year old maid for the suspect of stolen Rs .8 million from the house here in F-8 sector, Islamabad, sources told The Nation. Karim Sindailoo, resident of Larkana, Sindh, who along with his family has been serving at the house of Raja Javed Ashraf, brother of Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, since last eight years. On Wednesday Raja Javed Ashraf while interrogating the maid over stolen money brutally tortured her, sources added. The victim family approached Margalla Police to register the case, however influence invoked and case couldnt be got registered. However instead of registering the case police started mediation between the parties, source confirmed. When this scribe contacted SHO Arshad Ali, he said servant family and their masters approached police. During the investigation it revealed that servants daughter who was maid at Raja Javed Ashrafs house inside, she had stolen Rs .8 million in different times during last few months. Out of this money Rs 40, 000 have been recovered from the servant quarter. To a question he ruled out any torture on the servant family stating he has again contacted the family to come and complain if Rajas family have made any torture on the maid, but there was no response as yet, he added.
