2 men killed in separate incidents  in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI - Two persons were gunned down in different localities of the district, informed sources on Wednesday. Police registered murder cases against the killers and started investigation, they added. According to sources, Tanvir Akhter lodged complaint with officials of Police Station Saddar Bairooni that he along with his brothers Danish Ali and Muhammad Irfan were going to attend a festival being held in Moorti village when Mursaleen alias Sakhi Khan intercepted them near Malikabad graveyard. He alleged Mursaleen Khan took out his pistol and shot dead Muhammad Irfan. After committing the crime, the killer managed to escape from the scene, he told police. The applicant further mentioned that Mursaleen killed Irfan over suspicions of having illicit relations with his (Mursaleen) wife.
Police registered murder case and started investigation.
Similarly, another man was killed by three men over a land dispute in Thatta Khalil area of PS Taxila. The deceased has been identified as Mudassir, whose body was moved to hospital for post-mortem. Taxila police have registered a murder case against three suspected killers namely Amir, Islam Badar and Khizar Hayyat and started investigation.
