Balochistan, Sindh reach National U-23 Football Quarterfinals

LAHORE  - Balochistan Zorawar and Sindh Saints reached the quarterfinals of the National U-23 Football Championship 2021, at Kunch Football Ground, Abbottabad.  
Zohaib Ayub registered the first hat-trick of the championship for Balochistan Zorawar and helped his side beat Hazara Stars 6-2. Balochistan Zorawar took 5-0 lead at the end of first half as Zohaib hammered a hat-trick while Shaiq Dost struck a brace. Atif scored one goal in extra injuries time for Balochistan Zorawar. For the losing side, Sardar Abbas and Umer Gul scored one goal each.  
The second match was played between Shan-e-Punjab and Sindh Saints. Both the teams fought well but the first half remained goalless. In the 74th minute, M Uzair scored a lone goal for Sindh Saints. The players Shan-e-Punjab tried to equalize the match but could not do so. The matches were witnessed by Naveed Akram, Syed Sharafat Hussain Bukhari and a large number of football enthusiasts. Chief guest Advocate Kamran Gull and Waheed Jan were also present there.  
Today (Thursday), two more matches will be played as Sindh Qalandars will take on KPK Falcons in the first match while Balochistan Bazigar will face Punjab Warriors in the second match.
