New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) have announced the final match card for their upcoming Dominion event at Osaka-jō Hall in Japan on June 9.

The main event will see reigning IWGP heavyweight champion Kazuchika Okada take on former United States champion Kenny Omega in a no-time limit 2 out of 3 falls match.

This is the fourth time the two will compete against each other, in a modern rivalry that has often been credited with redefining professional wrestling when it comes to in-ring psychology and storytelling. NJPW have even uploaded their 60-minute epic encounter on the promotion's official Youtube channel.

"The Rainmaker" Okada has had a series of classic title defences, against opponents like the legendary Hiroshi Tanahashi and Katsuyori Shibata to name a few. But the champion says he wants to settle the score with the "Best Bout Machine" Kenny Omega, who has come close second many a times to beating Okada for the title.

Another match featured on the card and that has fans of professional wrestling hyped up is for the IWGP Intercontinental Championship (IC) between reigning champion Tetsuya Naito and the iconic Chris Jericho.

Having delivered a five-star performance against Omega at the co-main event of NJPW's Wrestle Kingdom 12 on January 4, 2018, Jericho shifted his focus towards Naito with multiple sneak attacks, and even busted him open on one occasion.

Naito, who failed to capture the IWGP Heavyweight title from Okada on January 4, recently won the IC title from Minoru Suzuki. He has promised to "silence that loud mouth" Chris Jericho.
