RENALA KHURD -Former Union Nazim and PPP Tehsil General Secretary Rao Furrukh Chaman said that the PPP won senate election with heavy mandate which was in fact a triumph of real democracy for which the PPP leaders rendered great sacrifices. He said that the PPP always did politics of principles instead of indulging in horse-trading and ‘Lotacracy’ (turncoat).
He facilitated PPP co-chairman and President of Pakistan Asif  Zardari and senators Raza Rabbani, Aitzaz Ahsan and Babar Awan.
He said that President Zardari preferred to go to jail instead of making any compromise with anti-democratic forces.
He pointed out that the successful holding of the Senate election indicates that the democratic process in Pakistan was continuing without any interruption and that it would continue to be so in future as well.
