ISLAMABAD - Top seed Muhammad Abid thrashed up and coming Huzifa Abdul Rehman in straight sets in the First Chairman JCSC Open Tennis Championship 2018 quarterfinal played here at Senator Dilawar Abbas PTF Complex on Wednesday.

It was no match between Abid and Huzaifa as Abid was simply toying with the youngster. His powerful serves, down the line winners and passing shots were too hot to handle for Huzaifa, who looked completely hapless and was offering very little resistance. Abid took the first set 6-2 and he was in irresistible form in the second set as he took the set without dropping a single game and won 6-0 to move into the semi-finals. It took hardly 50 minutes to Abid to wrap up the match.
