Osama supporters clash with police in London

LONDON The killing of Osama bin Laden have sparked protests across the world, yet an extraordinary demonstration took place in London where hundreds ofbin Ladensupporters gathered at the US embassy to stage a mock funeral. Violence erupted as dozensof British police struggled with the protesters who tried to storm the USembassy. They were carrying placards proclaiming that 'Islam will dominate the world andbranding US leaders as 'murderers.The protest comes amid heightened security in London amid fears of revenge attacks by al-Qaeda. During the protest, a former UK leader of the outlawedal-Muhajiroun called on the US to return bin Ladens body to his relatives.AnjumChoudhry, who organised the protest, has already warned of another 7/7-styleattack in the wake of bin Ladens death. This comes after the verdict into the 7/7 inquest was released by Lady Justice Heather Hallett, who declared that 52 victims had been 'unlawfully killed when four al-Qaeda terrorists attacked three London Underground trains and a bus in 2005. A member of the English Defence League a farright group which opposes the spread of Islam managed to slip throughpolice lines to unveil an effigy of bin Laden in the middle of the 300-strong gathering. It prompted screams of 'USA, burn in hell and 'Obama, burnin hell from angry protesters.
