Attock-The issue of low gas pressure in residential areas of Attock City will be resolved soon as new gas pipeline is being laid having length of more than 4km at the cost of Rs180 million. Provincial Minister for Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal Punjab Syed Yawar Abbas Bukhari said this while talking to journalists at his residence in Attock. He said that this project was approved almost two years ago but because of some departmental hurdles, it could not be executed timely. He said the main hurdle was from Railways department as the gas pipeline will be laid under railway line near Mohala Awan Sharif. He said that now all the formalities have been completed and work had started on this important project. Syed Yawar Bukhari, while giving details of the project, said that 40 thousand people of different localities of Attock will benefit from this.
