OUR STAFF REPORTER PAKPATTAN - DPO Jehanzaib Nazir, while talking to TheNation here Friday, said that security of Dargah Hazrat Baba Fareed Ganj Shakar (RA) was his first priority. He further said that law and order situation in the district was satisfactory and he would try his best to improve it. He stated that anybody could meet him without any prior permission as the doors of his office were opened to everyone. The DPO said that police had been ordered to behave friendly to all and pay respect to common man who came to police stations. He said that appointments in police stations would be purely on merit. DPO Jehanzaib further said that people were also requested to arrange voluntary watchmen in their areas. He said the District Police was facing the shortage of police officials, however they would maintain law and order situation.
