Larkana Traffic Jam

By Salman Khan Soomro

Being a Pakistani, you must be familiar with traffic menace. Traffic is one of the aggravating issues of Pakistan. Roads are built very roughly and carelessly. During day and night time, there are no traffic installations and signals. What's more, rowdy motorcyclists cross roads with giving indicators, and there is no one to impound them. In my city, Larkana, there is heavy traffic jams; here are no preventive rules to curb traffic and reckless drivers and riders.

In some areas of Larkana, traffic policemen are like showpiece. They take hush money from careless drivers provided they (traffic policemen) will acquit them. To make the matter worse, in emergency  fire brigades and ambulances have to pass through these pathetic conditions. That is why, it is my humble request to the Government of Sindh to take measures for overcoming traffic.
