PESHAWAR     -    City Council Mayor, Zubair Ali has underlined the need for taking concrete measures to build public parks and grounds in localities adjacent to Amin Colony GT Road   to provide sports opportunities to young generation and   people.

In a statement here, he said the Sheikhabad parks had been lying abandoned   for a long time, leaving people deprived of sports facilities, and there is dire need to restore these parks.  He maintained that hundreds of children used to participate in daily sports activities in Sheikhabad parks and the people of the area and senior citizens would do walk and socialise in these parks.

He said that construction of parks on land adjacent to a local college, and Amin Colony GT Road would also enhance the beauty of Peshawar city. He said that provincial government   should also give priority to build parks, schools and colleges in the KP’s capital city.
