ATTOCK - Punjab govt has given subsidy worth Rs 8 billion to give relief to the people through Ramadan Bazaars where different kind of edibles are available at subsidised rates specially flour and sugar, said Secretary Live Stock Punjab Naveed Haidar Shirazi during his visit to Hasanabdal Ramadan Sasta Bazar. ADCG Attock Mehreen Baloch and AC Hasanabdal Ishtiaq Niazi were also present. Secretary Liverpool stock said that 317 Ramadan bazaars have been set up across the Punjab where all the essential items are available at controlled and subsidised rates. He said, security arrangements have been made and medical camps have also been set up to give first aid in case of any emergency to those visiting these bazaars. He expressed his satisfaction over the facilities being provided to the people at Ramadan Sasta Bazaar. Later the Secretary visited a wheat purchase centre where the concerned officers informed him about the arrangements made for the wheat purchase.
