| The matter regarding deemed income from property is pending before the Lahore High Court. Since this issue is sub-judice, therefore it would be appropriate for the Ministry of Finance to issue instructions to allow tax payers to file their tax returns without paying this tax, which may be collected subsequently if the court rules in favour of FBR. This will facilitate filing of tax returns in a timely manner. |
