LAHORE - Two Pakistani squash referees Asif Khan and Sajjad Ahmad are excelling at international events and holding Pakistani flag aloft across the globe. Both the Pak referees have recently earned the honour of officiating semifinals and finals of the Asian Squash Team Championship. At one hand, Pakistani squash team has produced poor performance during the event, finishing fifth but on the other hand, Pakistani referees won good name for the country, after being selected out of 21 international referees to officiate the semifinals and finals of the event. Both have also supervised the $50,000 Malaysian Open in a befitting manner. They have also successfully officiated big events like Chief of Army Staff Squash, Chief of Naval Staff Squash, Chief of Air Staff Squash and Pakistan Open. Asif Khan, who became an international referee in 2015, has also achieved the feat of becoming the best coach of Asia in 2019 as under his coaching, Pakistan junior team achieved lot of feats.
