OKARA:- A motorcyclist was shot dead as he put resistance to the highwaymen on late Wednesday night at village 4/4-L. Zulfiqar Ali along with his wife Yasmeen came to Okara from Sumandri to offer condolence over the demise of a relative. On Wednesday night, the couple along with their relative Akbar Ali was on the way to village 10/4-L on a motorbike. As they reached village 4/4-L, armed highwaymen intercepted them at gunpoint and snatched cash from Zulfiqar and Akbar.–Staff Reporter

 They, however, put up resistance when the highwaymen started snatching ornaments from Yasmeen. The criminals shot Zulfiqar Ali dead on the spot and fled. A case was registered under sections 302 and 392 ppc at Okara Saddr police station.
