The people of Chak 77/10-R have long been demanding the relocation of high tension wire which has claimed many lives.
Recently, a minor was electrocuted and sparked protest. After protest, the local Wapda official ordered the subdivisional officer to prepare a feasibility plan for relocation of the same but to no avail. The protesters said that the officials were unwilling to address the people’s grievances.
