Lahore airport to be sealed on Nawaz, Maryam arrival

LAHORE: The security departments and anti-graft officials have decided to seal Allama Iqbal International Airport on ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz’s arrival on July 13.

The law enforcement agencies have prepared a security plan as per which, Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz will be sent to Islamabad on another plane immediately after their arrival at Lahore airport.

Yesterday former prime minister Nawaz Sharif's daughter, Maryam Nawaz on Sunday evening shared her flight details to return to Pakistan with media persons.

She said, while talking to media outside Harley street clinic, "I will return Pakistan along with my father via Ittihad Airways' flight EY:018, which will depart from London on Thursday evening at 8:45."

On Friday, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and Captain Safdar (retd) were convicted in Avenfield corruption reference by AC  and sentenced to prison for ten years, seven years and one year respectively.
