Flights from RY Khan to Lahore, Islamabad not yet restored

Rahim Yar Khan    -  Flights from Rahim Yar Khan to Lahore and Islamabad, which were suspended due to corona virus in March 2020, have not been restored yet, while only one flight in a week to Karachi is also not functional. Due to almost suspension of all flight operations from the second international airport of South Punjab, there was a wave of concern among citizens, Sheikh Zayed Airport a few years ago gave Rahim Yar Khan the status of international Airport, launching two weekly flights to Lahore and Abu Dhabi. While the flight operation for Lahore and Islamabad has not been resumed yet due to which Rahim Yar Khan as well as Rajanpur district besides Ghotki and Kashmore districts of Sindh as well as Balochistan area people travelling from hereare facing difficulties.
