CM opens bridge, cardiac centre

CHUNIAN - Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Friday inaugurated Changa Manga Overhead Bridge and Chunian Cardiology Centre.
During the inauguration ceremony, local people complained against the nonfunctional water supply system in the town and the system has not been functional for the last three years. The people of the town have no other option but to purchase water from water tankers or to use bottled water which is unaffordable. Taking notice of the situation, the CM ordered the DCO to resolve the problem within two days. 
Later, he reached Chunian Cardiology Centre. He was accompanied by Rana Hayat Khan, the PML-N Kasur President, MNA Rana Ishaq Khan, MPAs Sheikh Alauddin and Aneela Akhtar Chaudhry. A large number of general people were also present.
Addressing participants, Shahbaz Sharif said that he would leave no stone unturned to provide healthcare facilities to the people. He said that the cardiology centre is a gift to the people of Kasur and the project worth billions of rupees have been completed in a record time.
During his address, there was a lot of disturbance due to mismanagement as the visitors broke the main gate of the centre. Therefore, the CM had to leave the site earlier than the schedule. Earlier at the centre, he was accorded warm welcome by the people who showered rose petals on him. People were dancing on drumbeats. CM thanked the people on the occasion. He said that he was making an all-effort to bring reforms in health, education and other sectors. All district administration including DCO, DPO and EDOs of all departments were also present on the spot.
PML-N Youth Wing office-bearers included Fiaz Ahmad, Dhoon City President Chunian, Hafiz Imran Ghani, Tehsil Organizer, Mian Rasheed Tehsil President, Sufi Haneef, President of Traders Union, Sardar Tahir Khan, member of Provincial Council Punjab, Rana Waqas, MSF District President.
