Sindh CM, others to be indicted on 30th in NAB reference

ISLAMABAD  -  An Accountability Court of Islamabad on Tuesday an­nounced to indict Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in a corruption reference on June 30. 

The judge accountability court also issued non-bail­able warrants of a co-accused Muhammad Ali in the case and declared him as proclaimed offender. The court also ordered to block his national identity card and put his name on exit control list. 

The court, however, accepted an application of Syed Murad Ali Shah and granted him one-day exemption from appearance before the court. The Sindh CM could not appear before the court on Tuesday. The court or­dered all accused to appear before the court on next date of hearing when charges would be framed against them. The case was adjourned till June 30. 

NAB had filed a reference against Sindh Chief Min­ister and others for extending illegal favours to Tech­nomen Kinetic Pvt Ltd and others in projects of Sindh Nooriabad Power Company and Sindh Transmission and Dispatch Company (STDC) causing $16 million loss to the national exchequer.
