PESHAWAR - For the promotion of karate, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Karate Association has conducted a test for karatekas at Safi Warriors Martial Arts Academy (SWMA) Peshawar. A large number of players trained at the club took part in the test. Khurshid Khan, President Provincial Karate Association, was the chief guest while Khalid Noor and Qazi Asad, Secretary Provincial Karate Association, were also present there. During the belt test, the boys and girls performed well and received a good response from the audience. In his address, Khurshid Khan praised the children’s sport and said that they are proud of their players. He said that the karatekas and other sports players have given a prominent identity to Pakistan by hoisting the green flag in the world due to their talents. He also said that the best facilities are available to players now-a-days as compared to the previous days, and the players should take full advantage of these facilities.
