LAHORE - Additional District and Sessions Judge Sana Khan Attique on Tuesday directed the CCPO to look into the behaviour of a police official who was reluctant to obey the court orders. The court had earlier issued the orders on February 24, 2011 to record the statement of an applicant. As per details, Muhammad Sohail had stated in its application to the court that the Township SHO was not recording his statement in a case despite the court orders. The Judge said in orders that the SHO was creating impression amongst the public that every thing is around and revolves around the police and even court could not deliver justice to the public. The judge further ordered the CCPO that the SHO was causing portraying a bad image of the police by ignoring the court order. The court also directed the CCPO to take disciplinary action against the SHO and entertain the application of the applicant. Meanwhile, Additional District and Sessions Judge directed Deputy Superintendent of Police (Hanjarwal) to register a case against Sub-Inspector Muhammad Sadiq for not producing the case property in a murder case, despite repeated notices to him.
