We all fancy our celebs and that’s the main reason we love to see how they pull off their fabulous looks. Oscars Red Carpet was nothing less than an extravagant and flamboyant fashion march past, where all the stars were dressed to the nines! The star studded affair was an eye candy for all! Let’s have a look at the exuberant styles of our lovely celebs and how they flaunted their exclusive attires at the red carpet!
- 1. Julie Delpy (Sizzling hot): Julie has absolutely nailed this Jenny Peckham gown! The glitz and glam, this look has it all and the red lips are a spot on! We give Julie a ten on ten on this chic look!
- 2. Anne Hathway(Absolute Fashionista): We love this halter neck of Gucci gown and that it’s heavily embellished which Anne is flaunting elegantly. It feels very chic and sophisticated and the metal plates stop a simple black dress to look boring. Her short hair really works with such a feminine dress and keeps it really fresh.
- 3. Jessica Biel (Delicate Diva): Clad in a Chanel Couture gown Jessica looks modern classic as she has cleverly paired with a side ponytail so it still looks young and spanking. Jessica has slightly broken the rules by wearing so much jewellery but because the dress is so simple it highlights the embroidery instead of taking over.
- 4. Glenn Close (Perf Black): Garbed in the Zac Posen dress, Glenn looks fantastic and simply modish because this dress makes the most of her great body. The texture and grid pattern make it more interesting and the flare out at the knees compliments the curve of her hips. Like always she was a pleasant treat to the eyes!
- 5. Jennifer Lawrence (Quirky Much): The simplicity of the column shape of this Dior dress is an absolute spot on. The quirky orange makes it look really fresh and the peplums make it more interesting. It’s a confident look because it is so simple and pared down- we must say it was one of our favorite looks that enhanced the glam of the evening!
- 6. Meryl Streep (Effortlessly Chic): Meryl looks totally at ease and comfortable on the red carpet. She’s chosen a Lanvin blouse and skirt rather than a dress, paired with great accessories to add a splash of colour, she radiates confident elegance like no other. Her look is an absolute perf for the night!
- 7. Emma Watson (Destination Darling): Emma has totally bought into the metallic trend with this Vera Wang dress. From the neck down this look is quite gothic but she’s kept it pretty and fresh with more Hollywood hair and make-up. The stacking rings contribute much to her attire. We must say she absolutely looked dapper!
- 8. Sandra Bullock (Pitch Perfect): Sandra Bullock has nailed it with dark nails! She looks superb in McQueen blue dress that elegantly swifts the floor as she walks. She has kept a perfect balance between the side hair on the left and the pleated detail on the right. We stand in awe.
- 9. Kate Hudson (Elegance personified): Versace is all about grace and glamour! It’s about the notion of style and playing up to everything that’s woman. This mermaid dress emphasizes the beauty of Kate’s figure, and a coquettish wave in her hair is an absolute grace. We love the way she hasn’t overplayed with any other part of her look.
- 10. Cate Blanchett (Flaunting exquisiteness): She looks luminescent in this Giorgio Armani Prive dress. The blush color is so pretty against her pale skin and blonde hair and the accessories really add to the grace of the dress. Elegant as well as sexy Cate sizzles in this beautiful dress which was one of the glitzy looks of the night!
- 11. Penélope Cruz (Pretty much): The palest of pale pink chiffon with a grosgrain ribbon belt looks amazing on Penelope. She has made it appear modern and effortless in this Giambattista Valli gown. We love the way she throws a little attitude and looks fabulous as ever!
