Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad has expressed hope that Railways operations will resume before Eid-ul-Fitr.

Addressing a news conference in Lahore on Saturday, he said proposal to resume Railways operations will be sent to Federal Government after a couple of days again as people are facing transport issues.

The Minister said Pakistan Railways suffered a loss of around five billion rupees during the last one month due to coronavirus situation.
