Five bombs defused in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD - The police foiled a terror bid as it recovered five bombs which were later defused by bomb disposal squad (BDS) here on Wednesday. Police said on report of presence of suspected bag near Mehran University at Indus Highway in Hyderabad, it reached the scene along with BDS personnel.

During search of the bag five bombs were recovered which were defused by BDS. Officials said that the bombs were to be used for terror bid at the Mehran University or in Hyderabad but terrorists left them due to strict checking by police on the road.
