Hamza Shahbaz appears before NAB in assets beyond means case

The Leader of the Opposition in the Punjab Assembly, Hamza Shahbaz has appeared before the National Accountability Bureau's (NAB) Lahore office on Friday in assets beyond means case.

PML-N leader and his brother Salman Shahbaz had been summoned by NAB today in a case pertaining to owing assets beyond their known sources of income.

Hamza Shahbaz appeared before the NAB, whereas his brother failed to appear as he is currently in London.

According to sources, three deputy directors of NAB from the intelligence, prosecution and investigation wings questioned Hamza Shahbaz.

Last week, the LHC accepted Hamza’s plea for protective bail and ordered not to arrest him till the next hearing on November 13.

Former chief minister Punjab and PML-N President, Shehbaz Sharif, is already in NAB's custody since October 5 in connection to the Ashiana Iqbal Housing Scheme case.
