Lawyers boycott courts, demand to establish SHC Mirpurkhas bench  

MIRPURKHAS - Lawyers in districts Mirpurkhas, Tharparkar and Umerkot have boycotted the court proceedings here on Friday in support of their demand to establish Sindh high Court Mirpurkhas Bench. As per details, in the premises of district and sessions court Mirpurkhas lawyers under bar association Mirpurkhas setup protest camp led by Bar President Mir Pervez Akhtar Talpur and other office bearers. Large number of lawyers including women lawyers, social organisers, notables etc attended the protest camp and expressed their solidarity with the ongoing struggle of District Bar Mirpurkhas in this regard. Bar president Mir Pervez Akhtar Talpur deplored that so far modern technology had reached also in far-flung areas of the province but unfortunately and deliberately Mirpurkhas division remained yet deprived of its right of Sindh High Court Mirpurkhas Bench while for its requirement building was also available here and required cases were in pending but justice was not yet provided to poor people of Mirpurkhas division. He demanded the Federal and Sindh government to make ensure the establishment of Sindh High Court Mirpurkhas bench to provide justice on door steps of the people without any delay. Those who spoke included Junaid Maher, Muhammad Hashim Shar, Masood Leghari, Mir Naeem Talpure, Adnan Khurram, Muhammad Asif Qureshi and other lawyers. Later they took out protest rally in the premises of sessions court Mirpurkhas.
