Fake doctor arrested from BBH

RAWALPINDI - The Administration of Benazir Bhutto Hospital (BBH) has captured a fake doctor curing the patients at Emergency Department.
The fake doctor, identified as Khurram Ijaz hailing from Muslim Town, was later handed over to police, informed Medical Superintendent (MS), Dr Asif Qadir Mir.
According to him, Khurram Ijaz was seeing the patients at Emergency Ward when some ward boys eyed his suspicious actions, said the MS. He said that the ward boys informed Additional Medical Superintendent (AMS) Emergency, Dr Rafique, about the matter, who taking quick action captured the fake doctor.
Police was called and the fake doctor was given into its custody with a written application for registration of a case against him, Dr Mir maintained.
Interestingly, the officials of Police Station (PS) Waris Khan were not aware about the development when this scribe approached police for their comments. A Naib Moharar termed the news as baseless and cooked saying, “We are sitting in police station but do not know about the arrest of the fake doctor”.
Station House Officer (SHO) Ijaz Shah, when contacted, did not receive the call.
