Peshawar - Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested nine militants of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan during an operation in Hangu district on Wednesday.
An official the CTD said that cops also recovered three Kalashnikovs, one Chinese rifle, two RPG-7 rocket launchers with 14 shells, five pocket phones, hand grenades, other ammunition and a motorbike from the arrested persons.
He said that after receiving information about the presence of militants, the CTD raided the Rahmat Shah Banda Refugee Camp in Hangu district and arrested nine persons, said to be involved in various cases of terrorism.
The arrestees were identified as Said Riaz, Saadullah and Rasool Muhammad of North Waziristan; Muhammad Umar, Habib Ullah, Masood Ahmed and Maghfoorullah of Bannu; Fawad Khan of Lakki Marwat; and Hujjat Ullah of Mohmand district.
